International Day of Yoga

Declared by the United Nations in 2014, June 21 is observed worldwide as the International Day of Yoga, a day to honour the ancient wisdom and science of yoga that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. This day is not only a celebration but a reminder to integrate the transformative power of yoga into our daily lives.

The theme for 2025 is “Yoga for Self and Society”, emphasizing yoga’s role in personal well-being and collective harmony.

To register, simply click on the “Register” button provided on the page. This will redirect you to our official WhatsApp number, where you can express your interest in joining the International Day of Yoga (IDY) event.

Once your interest is confirmed, the Zoom link for the session will be shared with you approximately one hour before the program begins.

The session will last approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. It will include loosening practices, Yogasanas, kriya, Pranayama, Dhyana and a closing Sankalpa.

The event will be conducted on an online platform. A joining link will be shared upon registration. Kindly ensure you join at least 15–20 minutes early to settle in before the session begins.

To make the most of the session, please ensure the following:

  • Use a yoga mat

  • Wear light and comfortable cotton clothing suitable for movement

  • Position your camera to capture your full posture during practice

This will help the instructor guide you effectively and ensure a smooth experience.
